The Key Theme at OANDCon 2024

With over 500 attendees, including naturopathic doctors, industry leaders, and healthcare professionals, the OAND (Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors) Conference 2024 was centered on the theme "Advancing Naturopathic Care in Chronic and Acute Disease” this year. The theme emphasizes integrating traditional and age-old healthcare practices with modernized health and wellness techniques.

Ambassador Program

One of the three main initiatives announced by Wellness Extract during the event was the Ambassador Program, which would empower health practitioners and foster a community dedicated to advancing naturopathic medicine. The practitioners will be offered platforms to build their author profiles, get to publish scientific articles and join Wellness Extract’s expert panel while also enhancing their personal brands.

Another initiative was the launch of the Practitioner Program, which is specifically designed to provide additional support to healthcare providers and practitioners, offering them special pricing, priority shipping and early access to new products and other educational resources. 

Support to the SOS Campaign

At the same event, WE proudly announced its support for the SOS Campaign led by the Canadian Health Food Association (CHFA) by gathering sign-ups for the petition during the tradeshow.

The initiative advocates for the future of Natural Health Products (NHPs) in Canada, addressing the concerns of over-regulation of NHPs by Health Canada, which leads to high costs and limited access to essential natural health products. The collaboration is crucial to ensure continued access to vital health products by Canadians.
